Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to foster a sense of belonging and provide a high-quality living experience for residents. The role involves welcoming guests and residents, delivering excellent service aligned with company values, communicating effectively with all stakeholders, and contributing to a positive online reputation.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily repairs and upkeep of the community to demonstrate care and maintain quality standards.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring readiness and quality.
• Follow all GHP and community policies, including OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Ensure repairs are completed thoroughly, timely, and according to supervisor instructions.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, drywall repairs, appliance repairs, electrical tasks, and minor carpentry work.
• Assist in major appliance installations and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Desire to deliver exceptional resident and colleague experiences in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in property management, hospitality, or similar technical roles.
• HVAC certification is a plus.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a practical mindset.
• Ability to pass the GHP Maintenance Technician I Test.
• Possibility of driving a golf cart.

Physical Requirements

• Regular attendance and physical activity, including moving, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Lift/move up to 25 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work around chemical cleaning solutions and in various physical positions.

Additional Information
