Job summary

RealTruck seeks a Maintenance Technician 1 for third shift in Lincoln, RI. You will perform building maintenance and basic repairs, troubleshoot small tools and equipment, and support the facilities team to maintain a safe, clean work environment.

The role collaborates with Maintenance Tech II on PM activities and assists in installing fixtures and office equipment while keeping detailed records of work performed. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Maintenance Technician 1 - 3rd Shift + Differential

Schedule :

Monday - Thursday 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

Friday - Saturday 11:00 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician 1 will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment.

CORE FUNCTIONS

• Complete building maintenance and repairs (restrooms, lighting, HVAC systems, painting, and pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot and maintain small tools and equipment.
• Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM). This could include changing filters, oiling parts, minor electrical repairs, etc.
• Assist in building new fixtures, office equipment, and other necessary tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Support facilities team as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This position is subject to Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach, performing mechanical or skilled trades’ tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as carpenters, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
