RealTruck, Inc. is seeking a Facility Technician to perform routine cleaning and maintenance across bathrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, offices, production floors, warehouses and yard areas.

The role includes shift work from Mon-Thu 4 PM–12:30 AM with 2–3 Fridays per month (1 PM–9:30 PM). Responsibilities include cleaning, chemical handling, inventory, event support, equipment maintenance and safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months of related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sweep, mop all floors and corridors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Determine type of chemicals and equipment for specific tasks.
  • Provide MSDS for new chemicals used in the facility.
  • Assist in set up/tear down of internal company events.
  • Perform routine maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Ensure windows are washed and carpets vacuumed.
  • Remove trash and debris from entrances, offices and cubicles as needed.
  • Conduct weekly outside sweeps and analyze facility for issues.
  • May perform monthly fire extinguisher evaluation.
  • Identify cleaning problems and determine remedies.
  • Create and maintain daily/weekly cleaning schedules.

Perform cleaning, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping all floors and corridors to ensure cleanliness.

Core Functions

  • Provide EH&S with the proper MSDS for any new chemicals used in the facility.
  • Assist in set up and tear down of internal company events.
  • Perform routine maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Ensure that windows are washed, and carpets are vacuumed.
  • Remove trash and other debris from entrances and exits to buildings, as well as offices and cubicles (as needed).
  • Perform weekly outside sweep to remove trash and debris, as well as analyze facility for any issues.
  • May perform monthly fire extinguisher evaluation.
  • Identify cleaning problems and determine appropriate remedies.
  • Create and maintain a daily and weekly cleaning schedule for facility cleaning.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education and Experience

High School Diploma, GED, Or Equivalent Experience Is Required.

6 months of related experience required.

Required Licenses

Valid driver’s license may be required.

Physical Requirements

This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Physical Activities

This position is subject to the following physical activities: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, crawling, and repetitive motions.

Visual Acuity

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions

The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
