What you will enjoy doing*
  • You plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections on compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and other rotating systems.
  • You support and maintain water treatment systems, gas‑fired vaporizers, hydrogen generators, piping systems, and related process equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • You conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of plant equipment while supporting the root cause analysis program for major failures.
  • You assist with turnaround planning, cost estimation, and the identification and resolution of chronic mechanical asset concerns.
  • You take responsibility for maintaining accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance system and uphold the Oil and Vibrations Predictive Program.
  • You perform both office and field work independently, escalating technical concerns and safely accessing elevated equipment using ladders, scaffolding, manlifts, or crane baskets.

  • You have proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of compressors, turbines, blowers, and heat exchangers.
  • You demonstrate strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices for industrial mechanical and rotating systems.
  • You can use precision measuring devices and perform precision alignment on multi‑train equipment while upholding high technical standards.
  • You communicate effectively, work independently, and lead or support teams with strong documentation and computer skills, including proficiency in maintenance management systems.
  • You have hands‑on experience with vibration analysis and dynamic balancing, and familiarity with enterprise asset management systems; completion of a machinist or millwright apprenticeship is a plus.
  • You meet the physical requirements of the role, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights.
  • You are available to work extended hours when business needs arise.
  • You demonstrate the flexibility to support weekend, holiday, and call‑in coverage.
  • You ensure a reliable and safety‑focused presence during critical operational periods.
