Job summary

Linde plc is seeking an experienced maintenance electrician/millwright to plan and execute installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of large mechanical and rotating equipment across plant facilities in the United States. You will support water treatment, gas-fired equipment, and piping systems to ensure reliable operation and safety.

You will lead or join teams to plan turnarounds, estimate costs, and document work in CMMS while applying preventive and predictive maintenance methods

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in maintaining mechanical and rotating systems in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with installation, troubleshooting, inspection and repairs of compressors, turbines, heat exchangers.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methods for mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to use precision measuring devices and perform precision alignment on multi-train equipment.
  • Strong documentation skills and proficiency with computers and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform major equipment installation, maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of industrial mechanical and rotating systems including compressors, pumps, turbines, motors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, and cooling towers.
  • Support and maintain water treatment systems, gas-fired vaporizers, hydrogen generators, piping systems, and related process equipment to ensure reliable operation.
  • Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation for mechanical work, identifying and resolving chronic asset concerns.
  • Conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of plant equipment and support root cause analysis for major failures.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities in the enterprise asset management system and uphold the Oil and Vibrations Predictive Program.

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You shall support and maintain water treatment systems, gas firedvaporizers, hydrogen generators, piping systems, and other related processequipment to ensure reliable operation
  • In this role you will assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation formechanical work while identifying and resolving chronic mechanical assetconcerns
  • You are expected to conduct periodic inspection and maintenance of plantequipment and actively support the root cause analysis program for majorfailures
  • In addition you should maintain documentation of all maintenance activitiesin the enterprise asset management system and uphold the Oil and VibrationsPredictive Program
  • Additionally work independently to make technical decisions and escalatetechnical concerns when necessary to protect safety and equipmentintegrity
  • Furthermore perform office work and field work, ensuring accessibilityduring off hours and safely accessing elevated equipment using ladders,scaffolding, man lifts, and crane baskets
  • Lastly contribute to a disciplined, safety focused environment by executingwork practices that reinforce compliance and operational excellence
What makes you great
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience maintaining mechanical androtating systems in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • You shall demonstrate proven experience in installation, troubleshooting,inspection, and repairs of compressors, turbines, blowers, and heatexchangers
  • In this role you will apply knowledge of preventive and predictivemaintenance methods for industrial mechanical and rotating equipment
  • You are skilled in using precision measuring devices and performingprecision alignment on multi train equipment with accuracy and care
  • In addition you should demonstrate excellent communication and teaminteraction skills with the ability to work independently and effectivelylead or participate in teams
  • Additionally show strong documentation and record keeping capabilitiesalong with proficiency in computers, standard software packages, and thecomputerized maintenance management system
  • Furthermore bring understanding of regulatory and industrial standards andcodes, with completion of a machinist or millwright apprenticeship programconsidered a valuable asset
  • Lastly offer hands on experience in vibration analysis and dynamicbalancing and familiarity with the enterprise asset management system

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $40,500 - $59,400
