JFC Staffing Companies is helping a long‑standing, family‑owned client hire a Maintenance Technician who likes variety, takes initiative, and fixes things. The role supports maintenance, facilities, equipment, and fleet across three locations, working with the Maintenance Manager during a transition.

Required: 3–7 years hands‑on maintenance experience, strong mechanical troubleshooting, ability to lift 70+ lbs, and a clean driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years hands‑on experience in maintenance or related fields.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience fabricating/repairing parts and using shop equipment.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
• Able to lift 70+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• Valid, clean driver’s license; role requires driving between locations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production/shop equipment and material‑handling equipment.
• Help build and follow preventive maintenance routines, inspections, and documentation.
• Handle general facility upkeep (lighting, doors, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC support).
• Support grounds upkeep and facility improvement projects.
• Assist with fleet/trailer/equipment inspections, scheduling repairs, and tracking compliance items.
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors and help manage quotes/scheduling/quality follow‑through.
• Support safety initiatives and help with OSHA‑related efforts and facility safety checks.

Maintenance Technician

We’re working on behalf of a long-standing, family-owned client to hire a Maintenance Technician who likes variety, takes initiative, and prefers being the person who fixes things (not just oversees). This Maintenance Technician will support maintenance, facilities, equipment, and fleet needs across three nearby locations, working closely with the current Maintenance Manager during a planned transition.

Requirements (what they need)

• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, manufacturing, machine shop, fleet/automotive, or similar work
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Comfortable fabricating/repairing parts and using shop equipment (lathe/mill/drill press/saws or similar)
• Confident with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
• Able to lift 70+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors as needed
• Valid, clean driver’s license (role requires driving between locations; company vehicle provided)
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to changing needs (including occasional emergencies)

What you’ll do in this Maintenance Technician role

Pay, schedule, and benefits

• Salary range: $60,000–$70,000 (based on experience)
• Full‑time; typical hours 6:00 AM–3:00 PM with flexibility as needed
