Job summary

Capital Property Solutions (CPS) are seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team and help maintain the high standards our communities rely on. We offer a competitive salary of $23/hr - $35/hr, 100% company-paid medical insurance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll perform day-to-day maintenance on residential properties, complete minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical), coordinate with contractors, and log work in our property management system.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance services on residential properties, conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Complete minor repairs including carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors and residents on larger repair projects.
• Maintain accurate service logs and job documentation using property management software.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation.

What You’ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our residential properties and ensuring residents are safe and satisfied. In this role, you’ll:

• Perform day-to-day maintenance services on residential properties, conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Complete minor repairs including carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical tasks
• Coordinate with contractors and residents on larger repair projects
• Maintain accurate service logs and job documentation using property management software

What You Bring

• Experience in general maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
• Self-starter with reliability and strong time-management
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
• Physical ability to climb ladders (up to 24 ft), lift 50+ lbs, and work in varied conditions
