Job summary

Pivotal Housing Partners is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Enclave at Winston Salem (72 units). This full-time on-site role requires readiness to respond to emergencies and complete work orders within 24–48 hours. The technician will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks while maintaining grounds and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• HVAC training and certification preferred
• Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and OT hours)
• Ability to be on-call for emergencies
• Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders using smartphone apps

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all current and future residents
• Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48‑hour expectation)
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Assist with court‑ordered “set‑outs” when necessary
• Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3‑5 days)
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Be responsive to on‑call emergencies
