MAC Incorporated in Wilson, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. You will read blueprints and schematics, perform line changeovers, and support glycol, water, and air systems while ensuring GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Beverage, food, or high-speed packaging experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automated equipment.
  • Ability to read machinery blueprints, schematics, and parts manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must obtain and maintain forklift certification.
  • Must be available for overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as required.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, conveyors, motors, controls, and automated equipment.
  • Perform equipment setups and production line changeovers.
  • Maintain supporting systems including glycol, RO water, compressed air, lubrication, and chemical distribution systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Complete and document work orders and parts used.
  • Communicate equipment status and maintenance activities between shifts.
  • Assist with training other maintenance personnel.
  • Follow all GMP, SQF, food safety, PPE, and company safety requirements.
  • Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintenance Technician
Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for scheduled, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance of beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, electrical systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Key Responsibilities
