Job summary

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for projects located around Wheeling, IL. This first shift opportunity offers pay ranging from $30 to $40 per hour based on experience and skill level.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems, pumps, motors, gearboxes, PLCs, and other production equipment. Reading schematics and working with a team to minimize downtime are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to work night shifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems
• Work with pumps, motors, gear boxes, PLCs, and production equipment
• Diagnose machine failures and equipment issues
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
• Replace worn or damaged components
• Minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting and repairs
• Work independently and as part of a team to support production operations

This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$40/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements:

• Previous verifiable experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
• Willingness to work night shifts is preferred
