Job summary

Lakeside Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our stainless steel production lines running smoothly in Wisconsin. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of maintenance experience, can read blueprints and electrical/hydraulic diagrams, and enjoys working independently as well as with others to keep equipment at peak performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Diagnose issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
• Help improve equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support daily operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that make a real impact.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime

What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet
