Job summary

Alloy Products Corp. in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team of technicians.

You will perform facility and equipment maintenance on production machines in a sheet metal environment, diagnosing problems and implementing repairs. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, basic maintenance knowledge, familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience in a sheet metal environment preferred.
• Basic maintenance knowledge in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and general maintenance to keep facilities functional, safe, and in good working order.
• Assist with basic plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical repairs and installations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production machines and material handling equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to catch issues early.
• Respond promptly to both minor and major facility-related service requests and emergencies.
• Open, close, and secure buildings and systems as required.

Location: Waukesha, WI

Hours: 6-2:30pm or 7-3:30pm

Pay range: $26 to $27 an hour

Alloy Products Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team of technicians in Waukesha, WI. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience in a sheet metal environment who likes to fix things, has a natural curiosity about how things work, and brings solid problem-solving skills to the table. What You'll Do

Facility & Equipment Maintenance

• Perform basic repairs and general maintenance to keep facilities functional, safe, and in good working order
• Assist with basic plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical repairs and installations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions on production machines and material handling equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to catch issues early
• Respond promptly to both minor and major facility-related service requests and emergencies
• Open, close, and secure buildings and systems as required

Safety & Compliance

• Work with wastewater and hazardous chemicals in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment

Team & Facility Support

• Work as part of a team of technicians, taking direction from Supervisors and Management on priorities
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment to assist with loading/unloading, including use at elevated heights
• Use mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment proficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
• Track stock of basic maintenance supplies and notify Supervisor when restocking is needed

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a sheet metal environment preferred; experience in maintenance, mechanic work, or similar preferred.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment
• Ability to work independently or under supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
