Job summary

Westaff is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Fall River, MA to maintain and repair molding machines, extruders, granulators, chillers, temp controllers, conveyors, and automation.

This Direct Hire role offers Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday 7:30am-11:30am with a 10% annual bonus. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, and is willing to obtain NFPA 70E certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in job related field.
• Experience in fast paced industrial environment.
• Must possess or willing to acquire NFPA 70E Certification.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Work with automated equipment and PLCs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by performing preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot and repair molding machines, extruders, grinders, chillers, temp controllers, and other industrial equipment.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for service and parts.
• Support contractors during projects within the facility.
• Read and understand technical documents and equipment specs.
• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines.

The Maintenance Technician will work with our team to maintain and repair molding machines, extruders, granulators, chillers, temp controllers, conveyors, and custom equipment and automation.

Overview

• Experience in equipment maintenance, specifically HYDRAULICS AND PNEUMATICS.
• ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE PREFFRED
• STRONG TENURE IN PREVIOUS ROLES
• INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE (NOT FACILITY MAINTENANCE)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery and electronic equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns of molding machines, extruders, grinders, chillers, temp controllers, conveyors and other industrial equipment.
• Work with outside vendors as needed for service support, parts supplies, etc.
• Support outside contractors scheduled to complete projects within the facility.
• Understand technical documents and equipment specifications.
• All performed work to meet industry safety standards and guidelines.

Use of computerized maintenance management system (Fixx) for completing tasks
