Job summary

First Pointe Management Group in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our 316-unit apartment community. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring resident satisfaction with a proactive approach and attention to detail.

Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 8am to 5pm, with on-call rotations. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) style retirement, paid time off, and housing discounts for eligible personnel.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of maintenance in residential property management: plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry and painting.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and follow through.
• Proactive problem solving and after-hours support.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across 316-unit community.
• Prioritize tasks, schedule work, and liaise with residents.

Salary Range: $27.00 To $29.00 Hourly

What you will do: We are currently searching for a friendly, energetic full time Maintenance Technician for our 316 unit apartment community located in Walnut Creek, CA. As a key part of the community’s success, you have a hand in every resident’s satisfaction. You are personable, talented, tech savvy and skilled with an eye for detail and quality with a pro-active approach to preventative work. Each day is different, suggesting the need to prioritize tasks, be creative and use the initiative to problem solve. Your professionalism and follow through with residents make you a conqueror! Will have on an on-call rotation.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday from 8am to 5pm.

What you will Bring:

• Solid understanding of maintenance in residential property management field: plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry and painting.

• Proactive approach to handle anything that comes your way, especially when it comes to emergencies and after hour calls

The salary range for this position is $27-29 per hour. Other compensation includes but is not limited to: renewal commissions, mileage reimbursement and housing discounts.
