Job summary

UFC Gym in Village of New Hyde Park is seeking an operations/maintenance professional to ensure the safety and functionality of the facility. Responsibilities include conducting daily safety inspections, overseeing special projects, and maintaining equipment history.

Ideal candidates must have general knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, and experience in gym or health club operations is preferred. Comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of HVAC systems and/or electrical equipment required.
• Experience in operations or maintenance in a gym or health club setting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety walk-throughs to ensure immediate safety.
• Perform monthly OSHA safety checks and maintain logs for preventative maintenance.
• Procure necessary repair parts and maintain equipment history.

Responsibilities

• Conducts a daily safety walk-through of the Facility to identify and address any immediate safety concerns.
• Works on special projects as directed by the General Manager and Operations Manager.
• Maintains the history file on all equipment.
• Procure repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Performs monthly OSHA safety checks as required on the OSHA / PM guidelines.
• Maintains a log of Preventative Maintenance.
