Gold's Gym Washington is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support upkeep, repairs, and improvements across multiple gym sites in Washington and Oregon, ensuring a safe, high-quality member experience.

You will inspect facilities, service HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fitness equipment; oversee pool maintenance and chemical balancing, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with vendors while keeping thorough maintenance records for leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Facility Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on fitness equipment.
• Experience in overseeing pool maintenance and chemical balancing in aquatics facilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple gym locations in Washington and Oregon State.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and improvements across multiple locations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our members.

• Collaborate with the management team to prioritize and address maintenance issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report to the Vice President of Operations regularly.
• Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance programs.

Compensation and Benefits

• $21.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience
