MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY

This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Attractions Technician will assist with the repair and maintenance of attractions and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory
• Assist with equipment repairs, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining attractions in excellent condition
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and back end
• Ensure an adequate supply of tools and machinery
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staff adherence to safety rules
• Report problems or potential issues to the supervisor
• Work various shifts; regular attendance is required
• Perform other related duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED; or at least one year of related experience/training; or equivalent
• Knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic knowledge of hand tools
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety practices

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
• Stand, kneel, bend, walk, reach above shoulder, push, and pull for over two-thirds of the time
• Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 70 lbs. with assistance; up to 300 lbs. with equipment
• Wear personal protective gear as required
• Perform tasks involving standing, sitting, talking, hearing, seeing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and using hands and fingers to operate tools
