Job summary

GD Energy Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tulsa, OK to oversee performance and maintenance of large production machinery. This role requires hands-on experience with industrial equipment and the ability to collaborate with managers, engineers, and product teams.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, parts handling, and documentation, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
• Strong preference for experience in pumps or similar manufacturing environment.
• Some vocational or community college coursework or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections on machines.
• Thoroughly clean machines and components; remove and reinstall parts as needed.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal performance.
• Record damaged, worn, or broken parts and report findings.
• Order and install replacement parts for machines.
• Identify causes of unexpected machine breakdowns and repair efficiently.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed and outcomes.
• Maintain shop areas, tools, and supplies; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular machine maintenance.
• Collaborate with product managers or plant engineers on new products or modifications.
• Implement tests and adjust machinery based on results; communicate changes accordingly.
• Adhere to company policies; overtime may be required; maintain safety standards.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required.
• Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.
• Regular attendance and compliance with all Company policies and rules is an essential function for the job. Overtime, including potential for nights and/or weekend shifts may be required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Experience in industrial maintenance work repairing and maintaining heavy industrial equipment. (strong preference for experience in pumps or similar manufacturing environment)
