Job summary

Russell Barnett Automotive Family in Tennessee is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform oil changes, fluid level checks, and basic maintenance on vehicles. You will drive test vehicles to verify performance and work with shop tools to diagnose issues.

The role emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and safety; Ford dealership experience or certification is a plus. We offer competitive pay, health insurance, PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Ford Certification is a plus.
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus.
• Ability to identify the problem quickly.
• Knowledge of automobiles.
• Effective analytical and communication skills.
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.
