Responsibilities

• Utilize diverse technical proficiencies—including electrical, mechanical, welding, machining, and pipe fitting—to support the installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of facility infrastructure and production machinery.
• Ensure operational continuity by diagnosing and fixing complex systems, such as hydraulic and pneumatic components, pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, and specialized production equipment.
• Execute the installation of new hardware and manage equipment relocation to optimize floor layouts as operational needs evolve.
• Facilitate the setup of new machinery through rigging, precise alignment, and final hook-ups to ensure all systems are production-ready.
• Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance, including the systematic dismantling and calibration of critical components to improve overall equipment reliability.

Required Qualifications and Capabilities

• Possess a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and hydraulic principles.
• Prior background working within an industrial fluid application environment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, technical literacy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with high precision.
• Maintain the physical stamina required to stand for long durations and perform tasks involving bending, crouching, kneeling, or crawling.
• Capable of lifting up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Must supply your own personal tool box and hand tools.
• Hold a current Forklift Operator certification or successfully complete the necessary training.
• Possess at least a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Professional certifications in fields like electronics, HVAC, or mechanical theory are preferred.
• Bring 3-5 years of journeyman-level experience in production maintenance, covering fabrication, welding, and system troubleshooting.
