Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing the electrical, PLC, and mechanical functions of industrial manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient operation of equipment and production of high-quality products.

Third Shift: 10 pm - 6 am

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely utilizing a working knowledge of LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE, and other safe work practices
• Install and repair a wide variety of complex electrical equipment including automatic machine and process controls, motor control centers and panels, relays, circuit breakers, and electronic controls
• Investigate, diagnose, test, and calibrate electronic equipment and systems to achieve ideal process function
• Replace faulty electrical components of machinery such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and machine operators to understand issues and necessary repairs
• Set priorities to match the importance of job assignments
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and teams
  
  

Scope

• Physical Requirements: Perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing in overhead structures, working beneath machines, and in close quarters. Twisting, kneeling, bending.

Selection Criteria

Minimum High School diploma or GED

Experience

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience with a focus on electrical/ instrumentation.
• 1 year of PLC experience and general mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and functional knowledge of standard safety practices, powered lift truck safety, and electrostatic discharge awareness are essential.
• This role requires basic computer proficiencies, high energy motivation to multi-task effectively, a desire to work in a collaborative team atmosphere, and the ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
