Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a maintenance/facilities worker for first shift (5am–3:30pm). Pay ranges from $24.00 to $29.00 per hour, with day-to-day tasks including keeping production areas clean, performing preventive maintenance, supporting equipment upkeep, and collaborating with the team under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and remove waste from production workstations and dispose of materials in the appropriate waste streams.
• Sort scrap materials and load designated trailers using a forklift.
• Sweep and maintain production areas, exterior grounds, and the area surrounding the sawdust trailer.
• Perform general facility housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities as directed.
• Support the installation, repair, and upkeep of facility equipment and property.
• Assist with painting, minor building repairs, and other general maintenance projects as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
