Job summary

Cohen-Esrey Communities, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Landing at 818 & Village on Main in Sun Prairie and Waunakee, WI. You will perform routine maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry, respond to repair requests, and help prepare units for new residents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25lbs repeatedly
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general maintenance
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver's License
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, follow-through
• Basic tools required, to include personal smart phone technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units for new resident move-ins

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring customer fulfillment by responding to maintenance repair requests in a timely manner and preparing vacant units in preparation for new resident move-ins. The Maintenance Technician is an essential team member for Cohen-Esrey to deliver superior customer service to our residents. Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and general repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Assist with move-in/move-out inspections and prepare units for new residents.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC Certified
• Proven 2+ years of HVAC experience

Compensation*

$25-$30

*Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
