Job summary

Cayuganation Nsn in Seneca Falls, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain commercial and residential properties. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and general repairs to ensure safe, functional spaces.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with on-call and some weekend shifts. Strong problem-solving, dependability, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial and residential maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair and painting.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and structural systems.
• Repair drywall, patch surfaces and apply interior/exterior paint.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and complete fixture replacements.
• Conduct routine and preventative maintenance across multiple properties.
• Respond to service requests and emergency repair calls promptly.
• Document maintenance work and service records accurately.
• Collaborate with property managers, vendors and contractors to complete projects.

Location: Seneca Falls & Union Springs, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Note: Some weekends and rotating on-call schedule required

What You'll Do

Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems

Repair drywall, patch surfaces, and apply paint (interior and exterior)

Troubleshoot plumbing issues and complete fixture replacements

Conduct routine and preventative maintenance across multiple properties

Respond promptly to service requests and emergency repair calls

Perform regular inspections to identify maintenance needs

Accurately document maintenance work and service records

Work with property managers, vendors, and contractors to complete projects

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in commercial and residential maintenance

Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, and painting

Able to troubleshoot issues and work independently

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Team-oriented mindset

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Comfortable lifting 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks throughout the day
