Cascadia Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician, II to maintain and repair building systems in our healthcare facilities across diverse locations. The role ensures HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems operate safely and efficiently, while maintaining regulatory compliance and a clean, safe patient environment.
The candidate will manage maintenance work orders, read blueprints, and coordinate with vendors.
The Maintenance Technician, II is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of building systems and infrastructure within assigned portfolio. This role ensures that all systems—including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety—are functioning efficiently and in compliance with healthcare regulations. The technician plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and operational environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Technical certification or associate degree in building maintenance, HVAC, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
Experience working in multifamily housing, commercial properties, or with individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges.
Possess a valid driver’s license, minimum of one year driving history, ability to pass Driver Motor Vehicle (DMV) check and complete the Cascadia online Defensive Driving course. Must be available for occasional evening, weekend, or emergency work.

Meal periods and breaks are subject to interruption. Universal Precautions and remaining alert to the environment are critical to address the potential for violent behavior, exposure to disease, biohazards, noise, and contaminants.
The work assigned is diverse and involves addressing new and unusual circumstances. The work regularly involves a degree of unpredictability and disruption of planned tasks requiring a flexible time management approach. In addition, this position requires exercising sound judgment.
