Good communication skills are needed to effectively train lower skilled personnel and maintain information flow to supervision and across shifts. • Consistently demonstrates a safe working environment • Willingness to pursue additional training and education related to this function.**Job Description:*** Dismantle and inspect parts, rebuild and overhaul complete machines and troublesome machine components, such as gear boxes, feeding and adjusting mechanisms, bushings, sleeves, etc. Service and maintain overhead cranes, and hoists, power and miscellaneous material handling equipment. Maintain and repair plant systems to include plumbing, heating and air conditioning, ventilating and exhaust equipment, compressors, etc. Perform skilled fitting of bearings, spindles, ways, etc. and align machine components.* Perform electrical repairs to machines and equipment. Diagnose electrical/electronic malfunctions, troubleshoot microprocessors and recommend corrective actions to Lead, and design circuitry as required.* Work from complicated drawings, plans, sketches and layouts.
