Job summary

Arbor Company is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Technician in the Town of Florida, NY, with a starting wage of $20/hour and a Sunday–Thursday 9am–5:30pm schedule. This role focuses on painting, basic repairs, and upkeep of resident apartments to maintain a high-quality living environment.

Responsibilities include preparing apartments for new residents, interior painting, patching, and assisting with routine maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous painting and handyman/maintenance experience.
• Experience with apartment turns or residential maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, plumbing, and minor repairs.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Interior painting, touch-ups, patching, and minor repairs.
• Complete general handyman projects throughout the community.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and work orders.
• Support the Maintenance Director with daily maintenance tasks.
• Keep tools, supplies, and maintenance areas organized.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our community looking its best by:

• Preparing apartments for new residents
