Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep industrial equipment running safely in our Texas-based manufacturing environment. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and the capacity to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Mechanical skills required.
• Electrical skills preferred.
• Ability to read basic machine blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building, and grounds
• Constructs fixtures as required
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled
• Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds
• Removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe, efficient operation
• Troubleshoots systems to find causes of failures and recommends solutions for repair
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment, tools, and fixtures
• Other duties will be assigned as needed

This maintenance mechanic will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Job Requirements

• Forklift training and certification will be provided by company as necessary
• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred
• Mechanical skills
• Electrical skills, preferred
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to review and understand basic machine blueprints
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
