Job summary

SeaCa Plastic Packaging in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve plastics manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The role emphasizes preventing failures and maximizing uptime, not just fixing breakdowns.

You will work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and PLC-controlled machinery, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in plastics manufacturing or packaging maintenance is preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and machine controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plastics manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery, automation systems, and machine controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair printing equipment and associated control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
• Execute predictive maintenance tasks and identify opportunities to prevent failures.
• Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, compressors, drives, and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Day Shift: Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
Night Shift: Thursday-Saturday, every other Wednesday, 6:00 PM-6:00 AM
