Job summary

Dhanani Group, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX, seeks a Facilities Technician II (Cold Side) to maintain HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, and general building systems across multiple sites.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety, and timely service in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment. You will manage work orders, coordinate with vendors, and participate in on‑call rotations, with a strong focus on reliability and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility operations across multiple sites.
• Handle a substantial volume of service requests with prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with facilities management and operations on requirements and planning.
• Supervise facility maintenance contracts and inspections.
• Administer the facility work order system and assign tasks.
• Rotate on-call schedule for facility issues once a month.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; manage relationships and contracts.
• Input and track data in the work order system.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and efficient.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain records of maintenance and equipment inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.

We have an immediate opening for a Facilities Technician II (Cold Side). This position offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day! Here-s What You Will Be Doing

As an integral member of the Facilities Team, this position is responsible for:

• Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within an expansive geographic area.
• Efficiently handle a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning.
• Supervise facility maintenance contracts and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Administer the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders.
• Serve on a rotating on-call schedule for facility issues once a month.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance and service delivery.
• Accurately input and track data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems to identify and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.
