Job summary

The Dhanani Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II (Cold Side) to maintain HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing and general building systems across several restaurant sites in the United States.

You will manage day-to-day facility operations, oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors and on-call staff, and ensure safety and compliance in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites.
• Handle a high volume of service requests with prompt resolution.
• Coordinate with facilities management on requirements and planning.
• Supervise maintenance contracts and preventive inspections.
• Administer the work order system and assign tasks.
• Serve on rotating on-call schedule for facility issues.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.
• Input and track data in the work order system.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and efficient.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and installations.
• Maintain records of maintenance and inventory.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure safety compliance.
• Undertake additional delegated responsibilities.

Here-s What You Will Be Doing

As an integral member of the Facilities Team, this position is responsible for:

• Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within an expansive geographic area.
• Efficiently handle a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution.
• Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning.
• Supervise facility maintenance contracts and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Administer the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders.
• Serve on a rotating on-call schedule for facility issues once a month.
• Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance and service delivery.
• Accurately input and track data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems to identify and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated.
