Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Sterling Heights, MI to support manufacturing operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, automation systems, and facility systems.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and a solid electrical background, with responsibilities including machinery repairs, diagnostic work, and adherence to safety protocols. Second shift, with weekends and OT as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Solid electrical troubleshooting experience in a light industrial setting.
• Experience repairing equipment and assembly automation systems.
• Familiarity with electrical/pneumatic controls and sensing devices.
• Ability to perform light fabrication and MIG welding.
• Knowledge of Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on manufacturing tools, equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues.
• Support uptime via preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair assembly automation systems and production tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, motor drives, relays, sensors, and related systems.
• Follow LO/TO procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement projects.

Maintenance Technician - Sterling Heights, MichiganContract position - open endedPay Rate: $29.00 per hour ($34.00 per hour Journeyman/Licensed)Shifts Available :Second Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday-Friday, weekends and OT mandatory as scheduledWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, automation systems, and facility systems.
