Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a six-month contract in Fort Wayne, IN. The role runs on the second shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) with pay rates from $26.00 to $30.00 per hour based on proven work history.

You will troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, warm forge presses, and related electrical/mechanical systems to keep manufacturing equipment running at peak performance. The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic abilities, knowledge of PLCs,

Qualifications

• Work experience in a similar role in a production oriented environment, with emphasis on repair/troubleshooting CNC machines and mechanical presses preferred.
• Knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and various industrial control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong oral and written communication and basic computer skills.
• Shift flexibility and willingness to work overtime is desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment per electrical codes and blueprints.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions, repair or replace faulty parts to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and plant personnel to resolve issues and improve processes.
