Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a hands-on maintenance professional to repair equipment and keep production moving. This role offers learning opportunities and potential advancement as we promote from within.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect and repair cartridge-filling machines, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, read schematics, and follow strict lockout/tagout safety procedures. This onsite role is based near St. Louis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• At least three years of maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills with a safety mindset.
• Ability to read schematics and use hand/power tools; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Confirm maintenance priorities with supervisor and repair plant machinery.
• Keep production moving through preventive maintenance inspections and servicing.
• Inspect and maintain automatic cartridge-filling machines (tubers) daily.
• Schedule inspections required for regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems and address root causes.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager and outside contractors when specialist work is needed.
• Model safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, fall protection, welding and grinding safety, and spill prevention.
