Monarch Investment And Management Group in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Victorian Village Apartments in Florissant. If you’re self-motivated and skilled, this is a long-term career with competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

You’ll complete work orders, perform HVAC, plumbing and electrical repairs, and help keep units ready for residents. We offer industry-competitive pay from $21 to $24 per hour, on-call pay, health benefits, 401(k)

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• HVAC Certification preferred
• EPA and CPO Certifications strongly preferred
• Experience with drywall, painting, and carpentry
• Knowledge of plumbing, including sweating copper pipes
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• Ability to diagnose and repair appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals
• Familiarity with both electric and gas water heaters

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and according to priority
• Turn apartments between resident occupancy (Make Ready)
• Paint and stain interiors and exteriors as needed
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Maintain property grounds and complete preventative maintenance
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
• Share 24/7 emergency coverage duties with other team members
