Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Springfield, OH, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a Sunday-Thursday night shift (9:30 pm–6:00 am). You’ll service and repair heavy equipment, read schematics, and troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical, and HVAC systems to keep operations running smoothly.

The role offers competitive starting pay of $25.11 per hour, plus a $2.85 hourly incentive, plus tool and boot allowances and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification required.
• 3+ years of machine repair experience or equivalent training; forklift repair experience preferred.
• Ability to work in high places, cold spaces, indoors/outdoors as needed.
• Successful drug screening and background check required.
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial equipment to ensure top performance.
• Read schematics/blueprints and troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical issues, HVAC and conveyors.
• Work safely in scheduled shifts and follow company safety standards.

Schedule

Sunday-Thursday, 930 pm to 6 am.

Pay

Starting $25.11 per hour based on experience

• Earn an additional $2.85 per hour performance incentive - no flat rates!
• Annual $500 tool allowance and $150 boot allowance

Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification required
• Three years previous machine repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education and training. Previous experience in forklift repair
• You’ll be asked to do work in high places, freezing cold spaces, inside/outside, and anywhere within the building where you are needed
• Successful passing of drug screen and background check
• Able to lift/move up to 100 lbs during your shift
