Job summary

SACO AEI Polymers is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform PMs, read schematics, and use basic electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic skills to keep systems running safely.

Responsibilities include emergency and scheduled repairs, tool setting, and adherence to ISO 14001 and TS 16949 requirements while maintaining a clean 5S workplace. On-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and 1-3 years production maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial skills.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production machines and facility equipment according to safety and PM systems.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance during machine service.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Follow ISO 14001 & TS 16949 requirements and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Be on-call for urgent repairs and ensure 5S and safety regulations are followed.

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Shift: 7p-7aRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Welding MIG & TIGLicensed Hi-lo driver 5000 lbs. to 30,000 lbs. & die setting forklift useSetting Tools and loading recipes for productionProcessingUse of simple machining equipmentSimple circuitry electrical, hydraulic, and pneumaticAbility to read and understand schematicsPerform all PMsFabrication skillsBasic plumbing skillsThermolator repair heaters, and centrifugal pumpAbility to operate over head craneLock-out/Tag-outBasic computer skillsChemical spill responderHave own toolsBasic skills for setting and pulling compression molds.Basic skills for processing compression molds.Basic preventative maintenance skills: Understanding plant/process specific procedures.Basic Electrical Skills: Understanding basic electricity AC and DC circuits.
