Job summary

Saco Aei in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a Night Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform PMs, welding, hydraulic/pneumatic work, and basic electrical tasks while adhering to safety standards.

Must have a high school diploma/GED with 1–3 years of maintenance experience and be able to work on-call. Competitive benefits and room for growth offered.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Welding MIG & TIG and setting tools for production.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Perform all PMs and basic electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic servicing.
• Lock-out/Tag-out and safety compliance (5S, ISO 14001 & TS 16949).

Salary Range: $30.41 Hourly

Job Shift: Night

Shift: 7p-7a

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Welding MIG & TIG
• Licensed Hi-lo driver 5000 lbs. to 30,000 lbs. & die setting forklift use
• Setting Tools and loading recipes for production
• Processing
• Use of simple machining equipment
• Simple circuitry electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Perform all PMs
• Fabrication skills
• Basic plumbing skills
• Thermolator repair heaters, and centrifugal pump
• Ability to operate over head crane
• Lock-out/Tag-out
• Basic computer skills
• Chemical spill responder
• Have own tools
• Basic skills for setting and pulling compression molds.
• Basic skills for processing compression molds.
• Basic preventative maintenance skills: Understanding plant/process specific procedures.
• Basic Electrical Skills: Understanding basic electricity AC and DC circuits. How to use a meter, learning to read AC and DC voltage, amperage and resistance.
• Basic Hydraulic skills: Understanding basic hydraulics, symbols, valve function, cylinder function and simple circuits.
• Basic mechanical skills: Understanding how to disassemble repair and reassemble plant specific items, bearing replacement, carpet cutter, vacuum valves, mesh repairs etc.
• Basic Pneumatic skills: Understanding basic circuits, valves, and systems related to compressed air
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Is conscientious, and follows all plant ISO 14001 & TS 16949 requirements
• Must be available on an “ON-CALL” basis
• Comply with safety regulations & maintain clean and orderly work areas (5S)

Education / Experience:

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and 1-3 years production maintenance experience;

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, and climb in order to work on equipment. Must be able to use tools to perform repairs. Must be able to visually decipher color.
