Avada Properties is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to service our Sevierville portfolio of short-term rentals. You’ll perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry, ensure guest-ready properties, and maintain safety standards. This full-time, non-exempt role follows a schedule of 5 days between 8:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m. You must have 2+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable, hands-on maintenance technician to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and property inspections across our short-term rental portfolio. This position plays a critical role in ensuring each property is guest-ready, safe, and maintained to high standards.
Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, carpentry, etc.)
Troubleshoot and respond quickly to maintenance issues and guest-related service calls
Complete preventative maintenance and routine property inspections
Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs when necessary
Maintain maintenance logs and report completed work
Ensure properties meet company quality and safety standards
Assist with offboarding/onboarding property setup as needed

2+ years of general maintenance experience (property management or hospitality preferred)
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general handyman repairs
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent issues
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
