New Story Schools is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help create safe, functional learning environments across our Berwick and Selinsgrove campuses in Pennsylvania. You will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements to keep schools running smoothly every day.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, plus the ability to travel between regional sites and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in general maintenance or repair services.
• Basic knowledge of drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between regional school sites.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections across school facilities.
• Maintain building grounds, equipment, and tools to ensure operational readiness.
• Address and resolve maintenance requests promptly to prevent safety hazards.
• Support snow removal, landscaping, and facility upkeep throughout the year.

This position will split time between New Story's school in Berwick, PA and our school in Selinsgrove, PA.
