Job summary

New Story Schools in Berwick and Selinsgrove, PA seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our schools safe, functional, and welcoming for students and staff.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds care, traveling between campuses and supporting year-round facility upkeep to ensure a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least two years of experience in general maintenance or repair services.
• Basic knowledge of drywall repair, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between regional school sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections across school facilities.
• Maintain building grounds, equipment, and tools to ensure operational readiness.
• Address and resolve maintenance requests promptly to prevent safety hazards.
• Support snow removal, landscaping, and facility upkeep throughout the year.

As a Maintenance Technician at New Story Schools, you will help create and maintain safe, functional, and welcoming learning environments for students and staff. You will perform general repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvements that keep our schools running smoothly every day.

This position will split time between New Story's school in Berwick, PA and our school in Selinsgrove, PA.

What You’ll Need
