Maine Course Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations, performing repairs and preventive maintenance to keep guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, building operations or facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Strong communication and guest-service mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting for guest rooms and public areas.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest service needs.
• Inspect and repair locks, doors, alarms, lighting and safety systems.
• Assist with pool/spa operations and chemical testing as applicable.
• Maintain exteriors, grounds and hotel equipment.
• Coordinate repairs with the General Manager and leaders to prioritize tasks.
• Maintain logs and reports of work performed.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs for tools or parts.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety regulations.

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations by completing repairs, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all systems and equipment are in excellent working order. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and appliances
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and guest service needs
• Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks, doors, alarms, lighting, and other safety systems
• Assist with pool/spa operations (if applicable), including chemical testing and equipment maintenance
• Support cleanliness and upkeep of building exteriors, grounds, and hotel equipment
• Work closely with the General Manager and department leaders to coordinate repairs and prioritize tasks
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of completed work
• Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs for tools, parts, or equipment
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and all local/state regulations

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, building operations, or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical labor as needed
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends or evenings
• EPA or other maintenance certifications are a plus but not required
