Job summary

Management Support seeks a Maintenance Technician at The Lodge At Shavano Park in San Antonio, TX. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week with rotating weekend coverage and a pay rate of $23–$25 per hour.

You’ll perform preventive and routine maintenance, respond to service requests and emergencies, and work under the Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager. HVAC certification preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• More than one year experience in building trades/apartment maintenance.
• HVAC certification or plan to obtain this certification (employer paid).
• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance and repair.
• Current driver's license with non-rated auto insurance to be verified.
• Rotating on-call after-hours schedule.
• Bilingual ability is a plus; follow written policies.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance.
• Prompt completion of service requests and emergency responses.
• Work under direction of the Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.

We are looking for applicants who are confident that their maintenance skills will yield high productivity and advancement within our company. We can train applicants with prior experience in the trades, as well as applicants that have prior maintenance experience at other multifamily management companies. Compensation is based on experience and our anticipation of your performance.

Hourly pay rate is $23.00 - $25.00. The full-time work schedule is 40 hours, with rotating weekend coverage. Qualifications

• Lift and carry 30 lbs. up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
• Rotating schedule for on-call emergency after-hours response.
• Current driver's license with non-rated auto insurance to be verified.
• Bilingual (any language) a plus.
• Understand and follow written policies.
• Work under direction of your Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
• Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance.

Payroll is every 2 weeks with direct deposit (no charge to employee) to your checking account.
