Job summary

Management Support is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Carrollton Park of North Dallas, 18211 Kelly Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75287. We manage about 13,500 Class A and B+ multifamily units and seek organized, responsible individuals who take pride in preventive and routine maintenance.

We train applicants with trades experience and value HVAC certification. The job offers an hourly pay of $26–$28 for a full-time 40-hour week with rotating weekend coverage, direct deposit payroll every two weeks,

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or willingness to obtain (employer-paid).
• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance and repair knowledge.
• Experience in building trade/apartment maintenance desired.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance.
• Prompt completion of service requests and emergency responses.
• Work under direction of Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
• Rotating on-call emergency after-hours coverage.

We have a Maintenance Technician position at our Management Support property with [460] apartment units.

We are looking for applicants who are confident that their maintenance skills will yield high productivity and advancement within our company. We can train applicants with prior experience in the trades, as well as applicants that have prior maintenance experience at other multifamily management companies. Compensation is based on experience and our anticipation of your performance.

Hourly pay rate is $26 - $28. The full-time work schedule is 40 hours, with rotating weekend coverage. Qualifications

• More than one (1) year experience in building trade/apartment maintenance.
• HVAC certification or promptly obtain this certification (paid by employer).
• Basic electrical, plumbing, appliance maintenance and repair.
• Lift and carry 30 lbs. up three flights of stairs if there is no elevator.
• Rotating schedule for on-call emergency after-hours response.
• Current driver's license with non-rated auto insurance to be verified.
• Bilingual (any language) a plus.
• Understand and follow written policies.
• Work under direction of your Maintenance Foreman and Apartment Manager.
• Promptly and expertly attend to preventive and routine maintenance.
• Prompt completion of service requests and emergency responses.

Payroll is every 2 weeks with direct deposit (no charge to employee) to your checking account.
