We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Country Club Estates community in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves performing general grounds and lawn maintenance, as well as basic repairs to homes owned by the community, for 40 hours per week.

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Performing maintenance to keep homes and community areas in proper condition.
  2. Completing work orders efficiently and reporting status to the Community Manager.
  3. Handling all contacts with residents, prospective residents, visitors, and employees courteously and professionally.
  4. Identifying deficiencies and taking corrective actions with approval from the Community Manager.
  5. Maintaining community grounds: weed control, leaf raking, planting, mulching, trimming, and other lawn care tasks.
  6. Removing and disposing of garbage from community grounds and resident sites.
  7. Performing snow removal as needed.
  8. Advising management of waste disposal issues and large items requiring pickup.
  9. Managing inventories of maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies.
  10. Keeping maintenance and storage areas organized and clean.
  11. Maintaining all equipment to ensure proper operation.
  12. Complying with health and safety laws to ensure a safe environment.
  13. Performing seasonal maintenance and being available for on-call duties.
  14. Participating in the refurbishment of community-owned homes.
  15. Maintaining community water and sewer lines.
  16. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • May need to provide personal tools.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, walk continuously, and access restricted spaces.
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Tolerance to exposure to various chemicals.
