Job summary

Van-Am Tool & Engineering LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Saint Joseph, Missouri to support our growing manufacturing operations. This hands-on role keeps equipment, systems, and facilities operating safely and efficiently, requiring strong maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on stamping presses, CNC machinery, and fabrication systems, as well as HVAC and facility infrastructure across two St.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems knowledge.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and documentation.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Technical or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
• Respond quickly to equipment failures to support manufacturing production flow
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, lighting, and infrastructure

• Support installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve reliability

Van-Am Tool and Engineering is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technicianto support our growing manufacturing operations in St. Joseph, Missouri. This is a hands‑on maintenance role that is critical to keeping our manufacturing equipment, systems, and facilities operating safely and efficiently. If you have strong maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and take pride in solving problems quickly and effectively, this is a strong opportunity.

This maintenance position plays a key role in ensuring uptime across our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including stamping presses, CNC machinery, and fabrication systems. The role also includes facility maintenance, supporting HVAC, compressed air systems, and general infrastructure across both St. Joseph locations.

Work Schedule - 4-Day Work Week Option

Key Responsibilities
