Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to keep apartments and common areas in top condition. You’ll fix HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems, prep units for move-ins, and support ongoing property maintenance.

This role rewards hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and reliability. You’ll be part of a responsive maintenance team serving residents in Saint Augustine Beach, with competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.

• Stay alert and on‑call for emergency maintenance needs.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area
• EPA certification required
• CPO certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on‑call shifts
