Vesta Property Services seeks a Maintenance Technician for the World Golf Village Office in St. Augustine, FL.

The role maintains daily facility and satellite area upkeep, including exterior and interior spaces, pool care, cleaning, and light carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical tasks. This seasonal, day-shift position requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant maintenance experience; lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Relevant building maintenance experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Electrical, plumbing and general maintenance skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior areas of buildings and outdoor surfaces; pressure wash when needed.
• Clean and maintain interior/exterior furniture and fixtures.
• Maintain pools including vacuuming and filtration.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of furniture in rooms during peak times.
• Assist supervisor with bids and general information.
• Ensure safety and report unsafe conditions.

JOB SUMMARY:

The maintenance technician position, under limited supervision, is responsible for the general daily maintenance of the facility and satellite areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Maintain all exterior areas of buildings, including brushing debris from walls, ceilings, and all outdoor surfaces. Pressure wash when needed.
• Maintain and clean all interior and exterior furniture and fixtures such as tables, fans and pool lounge chairs.
• Maintain pools including vacuuming and filtration systems.
• Pick up debris in and around the facility.
• Maintain general appearance of all indoor spaces by vacuuming carpet, dusting fixtures, mopping floors, cleaning windows, bathrooms, counters and tiled areas.
• General painting, plumbing, A/C, carpentry, and electrical work.
• Assist housekeeping staff with setting up/breaking down of furniture in various rooms during peak times.
• Assist supervisor in obtaining bids and general information.
• Assist in maintaining the pools and spas cleanliness and temperatures when needed. Work in a safe manner and recognize unsafe situations
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant building maintenance experience.
• CPO preferred.
• Prior electrical, plumbing and general maintenance skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional travel may be required

• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to the elements throughout the year.
