The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Key Activities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Complete work orders and document maintenance activities accurately within the maintenance tracking system.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Support root‑cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and sanitation standards during maintenance activities.
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and work areas in an organized and safe condition.
- Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to ensure equipment performance meets.
- Production and compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or regulated production environment.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Preferred.
