As a Pharmacy Maintenance Technician, you'll be a key part of our Automation Production Support team. With a general knowledge of mechanics/computers, a positive attitude, and a desire to solve problems, you will aid the Central Fill Pharmacy leadership team in running a consistent and efficient production shift.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
  • Experience Desired: General knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software systems
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
  • Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

  • Minimize equipment downtime to ensure the achievement of daily and weekly production expectations by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot common occurrences during production to maintain workflow in automation and packaging, such as changing bags & ribbons in bagging machines, printer troubleshooting, changing labels in robots, etc.
  • Ensure that all spare parts usage and issues are logged appropriately and promptly within designated systems.
  • Perform daily cleaning and refuse removal from the facility.
  • Load/Unload truck deliveries using power equipment.
  • Assist in system audits to ensure equipment accuracy.
  • Recognize, address, and escalate system issues to internal stakeholders and vendors when necessary.
  • Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment, reporting safety issues immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
